I wish I could look at the world through rose-colored glasses like many do. I have prayed that the glass I drink from is half full. And wouldn’t it be great if I didn’t have the desire to pluck the ace of spades from the house of cards? But that’s my reality… I will always push the boundaries. I will always question my purpose. I may be skeptical but at least I do it with a smile and a sense of humor about myself.

the ominous clouds suited the day that i was to have.

you can learn a lot by having the conversations that you do not want to have. is it worth divulging the information that could make or break a relationship. is there strength in their character? there is if what you share does not send them running for the hills. and when you utter certain words, it makes you stronger to tell your truths. cloudy skies propelled the conversation and i found comfort in the clouds and in his arms.
